As has been the case for the last couple of years, our matches against Kiltha Óg have always proven to be great contests and this one lived up to that tradition with the Cobh lads coming out on top with a 3 point victory. Cobh raced out of the blocks and established a ten point lead at half time on a scoreline of 2-07 to 0-03, but as we expected, the Kiltha Óg lads came back at us in the second half and with some fresh legs, began to eat into our lead, out scoring us by 2-07 to 2-00 in the second half. All credit to the Cobh team (13 players, no subs), they dug deep, worked hard and hung in to claim the spoils.
