Our first league match of the season saw us run out convincing winners with 7 different players scoring on the night including 2-02 from play by Keith Donnachie.The opposition forward line were well marshalled by our back line including captain Jeffrey McCarthy,man of the match Aaron Dolan and goalkeeper John Gardiner. Final score on the night Cobh 4-07 Erins Own 0-07
Following on from our 1st league match our 2nd game saw us travel to Ballynoe where we matched the opposition strike for strike in the 1st half which finished level 1-03 to 1-03 with the goal from Edward Lane.With Niall Spriggs singled out as Cobhs danger man the game got away from us,but overall a good team performance with Conor Hogan outstanding on the night. Final score on the night Cobh 3-04 Ballynoe 4-08
